Image to PDF places the photo on the page as-is. The document scanner first finds the paper's edges, corrects the perspective of a photo taken at an angle and removes shadows — the result looks like it came out of a real scanner.
The photo is used as-is and the job still completes. Cropping with the wrong corners would cut off part of your document, so no crop is applied when detection is uncertain.
"Document" (the default) gives the best result for text on white paper. Use "Original" for colour content, passports or photos, and "Black & white" for the smallest file size.
Yes. Add multiple photos; the order in the list becomes the page order in the PDF, and you can reorder them with the arrows.
Yes. Pick a language under "Text recognition (OCR)" and an invisible text layer is added to the output, making the PDF searchable. It is off by default because recognition noticeably lengthens processing; leave it off if you only want the image corrected.
